Show up early for some exercise and art in the a.m.

The first Brew Fest “Art Run” is a unique event blending running, exercise and art! It will be held on Saturday, Oct 9th at 9am in the closed-off area of Mill Street (between Neal St. and Main St).

Participants will start in front of Del Oro theater and run the length of downtown Mill Street. Once participants reach Main Street, they will help to complete a large chalk mural, then run back (roughly 1/4 of a mile in total)! Because the mural is very large, each participant will have to run back and forth multiple times to complete the mural (with the help of all the participants). Each participant can determine how many times to complete the loop, but it’s recommended that each participant completes anywhere from 4 to 12 total loops (from 1-3 miles in total).

Registration will begin 30min before the event (8:30am) in front of Del Oro theater on Mill Street. When you finish, head home, take a nice shower, and come back for Brew Fest 1pm-5pm, where you can show off your artwork for all to see!
