About the GVDA:

Our Vision Statement

Downtown Grass Valley is a vibrant and connected district where local businesses flourish, community traditions thrive, and the historic heart of the city continues to evolve with purpose and pride.

The GVDA continues its ongoing commitment to downtown Grass Valley through organizational stewardship, community promotion, business support, collaborative leadership, and initiatives that enhance the district’s vitality and identity.

In prior years, the GVDA embraced the National Main Street Four-Point Approach to support beautification activities and community-hosted events, thereby fostering a viable, healthy downtown business district recognized as one of California’s certified Main Street communities.
